Review of Wardah Sunscreen Gel

Do you know that your skin must be protected from damaging rays from the sun? I did not realize about the importance of sunscreen or sunblock till some months ago. As a beginner, I don’t have many references of sunblock or sunscreen to choose. I decided to find out information and recommendation about it from some make up forums and blogs. Then, Wardah Sunscreen Gel became my first choice to be my first sunscreen product for my face. How does it work on me? Let’s check it out!

Wardah Sunscreen Gel claims can protect your skin from UVA & UVB and has Vitamin E as antioxidant. It also has Aloe Vera extract and Pro Vitamin B5 (Panthenol) for moisturizing your skin. Oh, don’t forget that this product is already has SPF 30. Even though the name is sunscreen gel, in fact there was no gel at all. It is lotion, not gel. This sunscreen product is easy to blend but little bit sticky. I don’t like the fact that this product is oily and does not really match with my skin type. When I finished apply it on my face, I used to straightly apply BB Cream, but unfortunately always begin to be sticky! As time goes by, I found a new way to reduce its oily effect. So, after applying it on my face, I let it dry about 5-7 minutes, then wearing make up for my eyes while waiting for my skin turn to be moist. When it is done, I apply my BB cream. It helps.

I have been using this product for 5 months and there is no problem with my skin. No acne, as before. Yet, I don’t see any significance changes with my skin. So, I think I am gonna use another kind of sunscreen. But overall, this one is worth enough for sunscreen product under IDR 30000.

Beautifying look doesn't have to be expensive!

Love,
Balqis
